LOCAL ISSUES, Chach. Tudun Satachari, circa 7th-8th century. AE (Bronze, 20 mm, 2.00 g, 12 h). Draped bust of Tudun Satachari facing slightly to right; wearing trapezoid-based tiara. Rev. Large chach tamgha in center; around, legend in Sogdian. S&K 207. Minor edge split and with some scratches, otherwise, about very fine.

The exact meaning of the title Tudun is unclear, but contemporary Chinese texts suggest some kind of a viceroy or deputy of the ruler of Chach.
